Doncaster boutique owner shortlisted for prestigious 'best retailer' award

Angie Huddart, who runs shops in Tickhill and Sprotbrough, is aiming to pick up the best new retailer honour at the glittering ceremony hosted by Drapers Independent at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on September 22.

She opened her Tickhill boutique Angi Lou in October 2019, only to be hit by the Covid pandemic.

But despite the struggles of Covid, she has recently opened a second store in Sprotbrough and has also taken on the running of the village Post Office which is next door.

She said: “We have a very loyal customer base of all age groups. Our vibe has been described as a bit “Notting Hill’.

"We pride ourselves in offering a very warm welcome, great value products that are unrivalled for quality and value for money, whilst also being quirky and edgy.”
