A Doncaster fashion boutique store owner has been shortlisted for a ‘best retailer’ award.

Angie Huddart, who runs shops in Tickhill and Sprotbrough, is aiming to pick up the best new retailer honour at the glittering ceremony hosted by Drapers Independent at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on September 22.

She opened her Tickhill boutique Angi Lou in October 2019, only to be hit by the Covid pandemic.

But despite the struggles of Covid, she has recently opened a second store in Sprotbrough and has also taken on the running of the village Post Office which is next door.
