Hide AdRebecca said: “We have decided to run our last quiz live at The Anne Arms on Sunday, May 2, at 5pm, in his memory, with all proceeds to be donated to Sheffield Hallamshire Neuro ICU, who cared for Malc and his family.
"The staff cannot be praised enough for their care and compassion during this time, and went above and beyond for us all. Let's face it, our NHS staff don't receive the pay or credit they deserve, and they deserve every penny of what we raise.
“We have set up a just giving page for those who cannot attend the charity night at justgiving.com/fundraising/malcsayles where we have already raised £145.
“We have also been blown away by the support of local businesses who have donated prizes for our charity night.”
The prizes are:
- £600 VIP paintball package by Bawtry Paintball Fields
- Family ticket for Boston Park Farm
- £30 voucher for The Anne Arms
- £30 tattoo session by Dave Stewart Tattoos
- £20 meal voucher donated by Devon's Kitchen
- £20 meal voucher from Man Wah Chinese Takeaway, Askern
- Meal for 2 donated by Poseidon Fish Bar, Askern
- Meal for 2 donated by Vebiro Italian Restaurant, Askern
- Cream Tea for 2 donated by Jaffa & Cakes, Carcroft
- £15 voucher by Rejuvenate with Roxy

Hide AdRebecca added: “Malc was a much loved husband, brother, father, stepfather grandfather and friend. He was a well known local character who went out of his way to help anyone.
"Even in his final moments, he helped others due to him being registered as an organ donor, and has potentially saved the lives of two other people.”
