On-going probe into health site

TRADING Standards chiefs are continuing to investigate a mental health facility in the borough.

Doncaster Council officers raided Rebound in South Parade, taking paperwork from the site to help with its probe following reports that people were getting help obtaining personal bank loans.

Andrew Brown, chief executive of the organisation for people with mental health issues, told the Free Press last month that it was the victim of vicious rumours and the allegations were untrue.

A spokesman for Doncaster Council said that the authority could not comment as the investigation was still ongoing.
