We also know that a lot of activities cost a lot of money, which is why we at Lakeside Village are always trying to find new, free, family fun entertainment to offer to our shoppers.

Doncaster’s response to the Tour de Yorkshire showed us exactly what the town can deliver when it works together.

And it also showed us that there is a real passion for sport and physical activities that the family can enjoy together, which is the reason why we were delighted to be launching our very own crazy golf course at the centre.

Thanks to our new, nine-hole crazy golf course, our South Yorkshire shoppers can now combine retail therapy with a sporting activity.

The Crazy Golf Adventure course has been created with families in mind offering free rounds of crazy golf throughout the summer.

Our customers mean the world to us, so we’ve set out to provide yet another free, fun activity that the whole family can enjoy when they visit our stores.

Equipment for the course can be collected from the DOMO store at Lakeside Village.

Players who are aged under 16 must be supervised and proof of identity will be required to collect the equipment.

This is just one of our many free activities that will run during 2016 as we gear up to celebrate our 20th anniversary in the summer.

We’ve been collecting memories and photos from over the last two decades and it is starting to create a real picture of Lakeside Village and the people who shop here.

We’ve got shoppers who have been visiting since the day we opened, staff who have worked here since day one and stores who have enjoyed 20 years of providing clothing and goods for customers.

As part of our on-going commitment to the region we serve we’ll be making sure that we celebrate in style and that our loyal customers enjoy a birthday bash to remember.

But for now, we’ve got half term around the corner and we’re holding a special Hot Deals weekend on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29.

That is a weekend when shoppers can save even more from our stores with many offering an extra 20 per cent off.

With free parking, an indoor and outdoor play area for children, our new crazy golf and other sporting activities planned for the summer, we are working to keep traditional family fun alive and kicking in the region.
