Man taken to hospital with serious head injuries after assault

A MAN suffered serious head injuries after he is believed to have been attacked in a Doncaster alleyway.

The 37-year-old was found in an alleyway off Alexandra Road in Bentley on Saturday between 2.30am and 4am.

A group of men were seen on the same road, adjacent to the alleyway, at about the same time.

Police would like to speak to these men as they may be able to provide information and may have witnessed the assault, and could assist police with their investigation.

Two of the men are described as white and in their mid 20s. They are both between 5ft 7ins and 5ft 8ins tall with short brown hair.

The first man was wearing white trainers, a blue Nike T Shirt and jeans. The second man was wearing a long sleeved white shirt, stone washed jeans and black Rockport style shoes.
