Man air-lifted to hospital after mountain bike accident in Conisbrough

The Yorkshire Ambulance have been called out to air-lift a man injured in a mountain bike accident to hospital.

The incident occurred yesterday (April 29) at approximately 3.30pm at Cliff Quarry in Doncaster Road in Conisbrough.

Andy Dunn, aged 21, was injured after being thrown over his handle bars whilst cycling at the Quarry.

He fell eight feet, and sustained injuries to the back of his head, face, knees and arms.

He was released from hospital yesterday evening and is currently recovering.
