Streets in Doncaster town centre are experiencing gridlock as shoppers and drinkers prepare to celebrate Mad Friday.
Duke Street is gridlocked with vehicles queueing for the Frenchgate Centre car park with bus services currently being diverted from the area.
First is warning of delays of up to 25 minutes on its services in Doncaster.
Today is expected to be one of the busiest days of the year in Doncaster as shoppers race to the shops, combined with drinkers heading to the pubs to toast what has become known as Mad Friday - the last Friday before Christmas.
Police and emergency services are generally kept busy as the day progresses.
