DAD Shaun Cocking threw himself from a motorway bridge last week... and wrote the last chapter in a tragic relocation, relocation story.
Twice he, his wife Lisa, and their daughters Victoria and Joanne had quit Britain for Australia.
The first time they came back after he couldn’t settle – and Lisa penned a book about their rollercoaster experiences.
The pair went back six years later to try again – but within two years, 44-year-old Shaun was homesick once more.
He finally came home again last year – alone, after leaving his family in sunny Queensland.
Helped by his sister Tracy, Shaun’s desperate efforts to rebuild his life were charted on his Facebook page.
But they finally ended when he went to a bridge over the M18, at breakfast-time last Friday – and hurled himself 30ft into the rushing traffic below.
He was hit by a lorry and then a van, and is believed to have died instantly.
