Isle residents celebrate pavilion extension

Isle MP Andrew Percy officially opened a £34,000 extension to the Westwoodside Pavilion last week.

A grant for the improvements was awarded by North Lincolnshire Council as part of its Community Grant pot established in 2011. The extension to the pavilion is now being used by a range of community groups and sessions are well attended by local residents.

Andrew Percy MP (pictured with members of the community) said: “I must once again praise councillor Liz Redfern for making sure that money is available for such excellent schemes. This has made a real difference. The parish council has a real plan to make very good use of the building.”
