Roads have been closed and a police cordon placed around a Crowle supermarket after a cash point theft.
Co-op in Johnson’s Lane, Crowle is closed this morning (Tuesday July 3) whilst forensic teams work around the cash point area outside the shop.
A police cordon has been placed around the supermarket and Johnson’s Lane is closed in both directions as police officers stand guard.
Damage can be seen to the front of the shop and the area around the cash point.
A Humberside Police spokesman said: “We are investigating the theft of an ATM machine from the Coop on Johnsons Lane in Crowle. We were called shortly before 2.30am today to reports of a loud bang and a vehicle driving away from the scene.
“Our investigations are in their early stages and we would appeal for anyone with information that will help us with our investigation to call us on 101 quoting log 51 03/07/18.”
