Intruders smash door down before stealing diamond and sapphire jewellery

Between 4.30 and 4.50pm on March 4 someone broke into a house on North Street in West Butterwick.

The intruders smashed the front door and stole a number of items of jewellery. Nine-carat-gold necklaces and rings, an 18-carat-gold diamond and sapphire ring and ear rings were taken.
