Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan is to make a special appearance in Sheffield - just weeks after being sacked from WWE over reportedly racist comments.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, will be appearing at Sheffield Arena’s Steel Hall on Saturday, November 14, where he will talk about his career and personal life to fans.

Last month, Hogan appeared on American television to ask for forgiveness after being fired from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after admitting using a racist term during a rant about his daughter’s ex-boyfriend.

The 62-year-old said: “I think if you look at the whole picture of who Hulk Hogan is, you can see over all the years that there’s not a racist bone in my body.

“I’m not a racist but I never should have said what I said. It was wrong. I’m embarrassed by it.”

A spokesman for the Evening With Hulk Hogan event said: “For all you Hulkamanics and super fans of wrestling it’s your chance to meet Hulk Hogan himself and gain an insight into exclusive information on both his personal life and career.

“Take a seat and be mesmerised by the untold story of Hogan’s career and personal life, followed by a live question and answer to fulfil your inquisitiveness of Hulk Hogan.”

Ticket upgrades can also be purchased to meet Hogan, along with photos and autographs with some of the most renowned names in wrestling.

Tickets are priced from £36.75 to £235.

They go on general sale at 9am on Monday 14th September in person at the Arena Box Office, by phone on 0114 256 5656 or online at
