Hirst Priory in Crowle has been revealed as the winner of the Industry Insights Monthly, Farming and Agriculture Awards 2017, Best Rural Wedding & Events Venue – Lincolnshire.

Winners are decided through a combination of votes and rigorous research conducted by the Industry Insights team of professionals who carefully scrutinise everything from a nominee’s region to their performance over the past 12 months, their commitment to innovation, their methods and even their competition to ensure that only the most deserving names walk away with one of these prestigious trophies. Hazel Wheatley, managing director of Hirst Priory said: “We are very proud to win this award in recognition of the hard work we have all put in to developing Hirst Priory from a private residence in to a successful wedding and events venue in just three years. We were determined to become a jewel in the crown of the Isle of Axholme but to be recognised as a top venue in Lincolnshire is just fantastic.”

She continued: “The secret to Hirst Priory’s success is a combination of the sensitive conversion work done to turn the 18thC grade II listed building in to a commercial venue a growing reputation for excellent customer service and a willingness to keep improving what it has to offer. An example of this is the recent creation of an outdoor wedding space amongst the trees, a strongly growing trend within the wedding industry that is attracting a lot of interest from prospective couples.”
