A new bike scheme has been launched to support residents to access employment, training or college.
The Access to Wheels scheme, coordinated by Doncaster Council and local partners, will help people who may be finding it difficult to get to work or training sites by providing them with a reduced priced bicycle to ease travel problems.
South Yorkshire Police and JE James Cycles will be supplying the second hand bikes while Hayfield Wheelers Cycle Centre will be carrying out any necessary maintenance. Residents can source bikes at a reduced rate and get security equipment. For more information contact Dean Wiffen, sport and physical activity officer, on 01302 735403.
