Hundreds of people turned out today for the annual Auckley Show.
The free event had plenty to keep people entertained with exhibitions, stalls, donkey rides and a wide range of live entertainment including music from the Armthorpe Elmfield Brass Band.
This year’s show also had a second marquee dedicated to craft stalls. Army cadets from across the region offered their services and helped to steward parking for the event.
17 year old cadet, Michael Thomas said: “This year’s show has been great! We had a stall to create awareness about what the cadets do and also helped with stewarding the parking, which was quite tough but we worked together and got it sorted!”
The show’s annual beer festival, hosted by The Idle Brewery was a big hit with show-goers who got to enjoy the wide selection of ale and cider on offer.
