A FORMER Thomas Walton College pupil has gone from pulling pints to serving on the front line.
RAF senior aircraftman Jason ‘Frosty’ Frost is currently in Kandahar, Afghanistan, serving as an imagery analyst, where his main duty is to examine photographs and identify potential threats to British and coalition troops.
Jason, 26, grew up in Doncaster, attending Edington Comprehensive, as it was then known, before becoming a pub landlord.
He managed to achieve his boyhood ambition of joining the RAF in 2009, following in the footsteps of both his grandfathers who served in the Second World War.
The father-of-three said: “I know that the job I do is extremely important as my work helps the troops avoid and protect themselves against the the dangers out there, such as improvised explosive devices. I am proud to serve.”
Jason will finish his current tour of duty next month.
