Flybe releases details of its summer 2019 flights from Doncaster Sheffield Airport

As the excitement builds in readiness for the big school summer holidays, smart families can already plan ahead for next year as Doncaster Sheffield Airport (DSA) is pleased to announce phase one of the summer 2019 Flybe schedule going on sale today.

It’s an A to Z of European destinations and beyond, including an early selection of sun routes such as Alicante, Faro and Malaga, for travel between March 31 and June 16, 2019.

The recently launched Belfast service has proved a hit with travellers so far this summer and is set to continue for Summer 2019. A further phase with new schedule enhancements is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Flybe is the second largest low-fare airline to operate from Doncaster Sheffield Airport with over three quarters of a million passengers have flown on Flybe to and from Doncaster Sheffield Airport since it started operating at DSA. The top ten destinations include Alicante, Amsterdam, Paris, Jersey and Dublin. Chris Harcombe, Aviation Development Director, Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said: “We are delighted to announce another summer season of exciting holiday destinations and European business capitals with Flybe. Summer 2019 at DSA is shaping up to one of our biggest and Flybe play a major role in offering greater choice and value to our growing number of customers.”

Flybe has played a big part in DSA reaching record levels for passenger numbers, seeing 1.3 million in 2017.

The recent opening of phase two of the Great Yorkshire Way, with a direct link to the motorway network taking 15-20 minutes off most car journeys, has made this local airport accessible within a 60-minute drive for over 6 million potential passengers.
