The Horrible Histories stage tour is back, with a brand new and even more horrid 3D show.

The Barmy Britain show takes you through history with all of the nasty bits left in and asks can you beat battling Boudicca? Has William Wallace met his match? Would you lose your heart or head to horrible Henry?

Can evil Elizabeth entertain England? Will Parliament survive gunpowder Guy? Can King Charles keep his head? Would you stand and deliver to dastardly Dick Turpin?

5 plenty of laughs

The Cast Comedy Club returns this week with an Edinburgh Festival preview featuring two excellent performers.

Described as an ‘effortlessly brilliant’ comedy performer, Justin Moorhouse, tops the bill and has also appeared on Phoenix Nights, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

A former Funny Women and City Life Comedian of the Year finalist as well as Hoot Best New Act, Rachel Fairburn is the other act on the bill and cuts a compelling onstage figure as a demure but ultimately doom-laden Mancunian with twisted imagery in droves.

She will be previewing material from her Edinburgh Festival show ‘All The Fun Of The Fairburn’.

WHERE: Cast Theatre, Waterdale, Doncaster
