IT was lights, camera and action for a courageous girl fighting a rare genetic condition as she hosted a special cinema party.
Abigail Cook, seven, has a terminal illness called Batten Disease, causing seizures and giving her a life expectancy of 14-years-old.
However, the brave Warmsworth youngster is not letting the condition get in her way and was offered to host a special cinema event for her family, friends and supporters at Vue in Doncaster’s Leisure Park.
Brother Oliver, 11, was also involved in the action as he got to press the button to start Abigail’s chosen film Happy Feet 2.
The Free Press is supporting Abigail’s fundraising for her wish list. The next item on the list is a fancy dress party which takes place tomorrow in her village from 6.30pm.
