Three major schemes are rapidly taking shape, with builders creating the £14 million Danum Gallery, Library and Museum, at one end of the street, just a few yards away from the £10 million cinema and restaurants complex, and from the Doncaster University Technical College site at the other end of the road.
Doncaster Council has confirmed the opening of the museum, originally due late this summer, has been delayed by lockdown, but it continues to take shape and is clearly recognisable from earlier artist impressions.
The cinema and the college are also now clearly recognisable as the buildings they are to be when they open.
The college had originally been planned to open this autumn, and the cinema was at one stage hoped to open in April 2020
These pictures, taken this week, show the buildings as they are now.
