The number of entries for this year’s Doncaster Business Awards is up on last year.
The event, sponsored by Solutions 4 Cleaning and backed by the Doncaster Free Press, has seen figures increase by 10% compared with last year, with the number of companies entering increasing by 15%.
Phil Harris of Doncaster Chamber said: “This is yet another record breaking year, and is testament to the gravitas of the businesses in Doncaster.
“I’m delighted to see so many local businesses speaking out about their successes, and the diverse range of businesses entering awards, from different sectors, sizes and stages of business growth.

The judges are now in the process of marking entries, creating a shortlist of finalists, and arranging visits to see those finalists for the second stage of the judging process. Finalists will be announced on October 16 with winners announced on December 11 at Doncaster Racecourse.
