Pupils in Sheffield schools are challenged to try for the title of Sheffield’s Fittest Primary School.
To combat physical inactivity among youngsters, a new competition aims to significantly improve children’s fitness.
Local school sport providers, Xcite Sports and Fitness, invite schools to enter a Y6 or Y5 class to tackle a specially-designed challenge during a PE lesson.
The recording of results takes place from February 15 to March 18 and Xcite offers all schools a free training session from their experienced PE specialists.
“This is straightforward and completely free to enter. Everything will take place in their school hall at a time to suit them.” said Xcite MD James O’Neill. “We are really excited to see improvements in each child’s fitness and cannot wait to crown Sheffield’s ‘Fittest Primary School’.” Schools can contact James on 07851046611 or firstname.lastname@example.org
