Boss Bunnyman Ian McCulloch is set to make a rare solo performance in the region this month.

Friday, February 27 sees “Mac The Mouth” appear at Leeds City Varieties Music Hall.

The Swan Street venue hosts the leading light behind one of the UK’s most popular indie rock bands.

Formed in Liverpool in 1978, in a musical melting pot that also spawned contemporaries Julian Cope and Pete Wylie, The Bunnymen were responsible for hit albums as well as memorable singles The Cutter, Seven Seas, Bring on the Dancing Horses, The Killing Moon and Nothing Lasts Forever.

The talented singer songwriter’s one-man show will feature stripped down acoustic versions of such classic band tracks as well as those from his own solo back catalogue and collaborations.
