For some egg-ceptional Easter Sunday fun, join Aurora and local stallholders for the charity’s annual Easter Shopping Fayre.

On Sunday 20 April, Pastures Lodge in Mexborough will be hosting a variety of stalls offering local produce and handmade crafts including cakes, flowers, jewellery, accessories, cards, natural health and beauty products and other Easter-themed gifts.

There will also be a raffle and refreshments.

Doors are open from 12 noon until 4pm, so why not make it part of your family day out and combine it with Sunday Lunch in the Pastures’ restaurant and keep the children entertained in the play area.

Says Maureen Sampson, Aurora volunteer: “We hope that residents of Mexborough and surrounding areas as well as the cancer patients who use the services of Aurora will come along with their friends and family to support this event.

“All proceeds will help our local charity to continue to provide free beauty and wellbeing treatments to men and women affected by cancer. Treatments include massage, reflexology, hairdressing, and skincare, to help raise their confidence, self-esteem and general feeling of wellbeing. Everyone is welcome to come along to the Aurora Wellbeing Centre located to the rear of Montagu Hospital to be pampered for a suggested donation which supports the charity.”

Entry to the Aurora & Friends Easter Shopping Fayre costs £1 for adults which includes refreshments. Children go free. All proceeds to support Aurora Wellbeing Centres – a local charity helping men and women affected by cancer.

A limited number of stalls are still available to be booked by contacting the Fundraising Team on the details below.
