Revellers got into the Christmas party spirit at a Doncaster social club - in the middle of January.
The tinsel, turkey and trimmings might be a dim and distant memory for the rest of us, but at Intake Social Club the party was still in full swing as the club’s life members celebrated their annual Christmas party, which is traditionally held well into the New Year.
Guests tucked into the traditional turkey and Christmas pudding as part of a five course meal and there was live music and entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the early evening at the club in Craithie Road.
More than 100 guests enjoyed the event.
Club spokesman Shaun Whittaker said: “When everyone else is taking down the decorations, we leave them up.
“The party has always been held in January - it has always just been that way!”
