A decision on plans for a skate park in Epworth is due to be made by North Lincolnshire Council on Tuesday, July 1.

The concrete skate park is set to be developed on part of a playing field to the rear of South Axholme Academy off Burnham Road.

The application also includes a footpath, fencing, lighting and CCTV coverage.

Concern has been voiced by Epworth Town Council about parking space, the provision of seating and for litter at the site, along with the monitoring of CCTV.

Coun Ros Whittaker said at town council that she felt consultation on the proposals should have been wider, with more input from Epworth residents. She was also concerned about the seclusion of the proposed site.

Members of the public are able to attend meetings of the planning committee and can apply to have the opportunity to speak.
