And for those that do, the complexities of promoting themselves online can quickly become overwhelming. With so much choice, how do you prioritise social media, search engine optimisation or email campaigns?
Step forward Digital Kitbag, a service for SMEs provided by Johnston Press, publishers of the South Yorkshire Times.
It is staging a FREE digital marketing seminar, in collaboration with the Times, at the Arundel Suite in the Millennium Galleries on Arundel Gate, Sheffield, on Thursday, July 30.
Attendees will hear from industry experts about digital marketing to help SMEs improve their online presence and win more customers.
Chris Brake, managing director of Digital Kitbag, said: “Today, SMEs have so much choice when it comes to promoting their business online. It can seem very complex and can quickly become overwhelming.
“A recent survey we conducted with Buzzboard showed shocking levels of digital unreadiness holding back SMEs, for example, just under half don’t even have a website. Our seminars are designed to address this and take away the complexity, to help SMEs gain valuable insight into digital marketing that will empower them for the future.
