This is the moment a thief rode left a teenage boy heartbroken after riding off on his £400 Christmas present mountain bike from outside a Doncaster school.

14-year-old Keaton Homer was left devastated after the brand new Carrera bike was stolen from the bike shed at McAuley Catholic High School in Cantley Lane earlier this month.

Mum Louise has shared CCTV footage provided by the school of the theft shortly before 11.30am on February 21.

She said: “He is devastated. It took months to save up for as his Christmas present.

"I think it's only right to inform other parents before it is there child’s bike.”

“The school has apologised and sent us the CCTV footage which has been sent to the police.”
