Two arrests after man shot in leg

A MAN was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg after a shooting in a row on a Sheffield estate.

Police say the incident - at 3pm yesterday near Grace Owen Nursery on South Street, Park Hill - was believed to be “a dispute between known individuals”.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police responded to the incident immediately, but the offenders had already left the scene.

“Emergency services responded and the man was taken to hospital. He is not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.”

Two men were arrested early yesterday evening and were last night helping police with their inquiries.
