Two men have been arrested as part of an investigation into child sexual exploitation in Sheffield and Rotherham.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at an address in Sheffield on Thursday and a 23-year-old man was arrested yesterday after handing himself in at a police station.

Both men have since been released on bail.

The arrests form part of an ongoing investigation into a number of alleged sexual offences against underage girls between 2005 and 2009 in Sheffield and Rotherham.

Three men, aged 21, 23 and 28, were arrested last month and remain on police bail in connection with the investigation.
