floral tributes have been laid at the scene where the body of a teenage boy was found.
Formal identification of the body is due to take place today but police confirmed they are linking it to missing 13-year-old Lewis Eddleston, of Clay Lane.
Speaking about Lewis a neighbour who did not want to be named said: “Lewis was a lovely lad, everyone knew him.
“We are a close knit community and this will hit us hard.”
Lewis, of Clay Lane was last seen half a mile from the scene on Sunday afternoon between Kirk Sandall and Edenthorpe after telling his group of friends to look after his mobile phone while he went to the toilet.
