Train stopped and police called onboard after violence on Doncaster train
and live on Freeview channel 276
The line between Doncaster and Fitzwilliam was completed blocked because the train had to be stopped while police investigated a fight on the train, near Adwick.
It affected a number of services between Doncaster and Leeds.

Hide AdBritish Transport Police said in a statement this morning: “Officers were called to South Elmsall station at 4.45pm on Thursday 27 May following reports of a fight on-board a train.
“The train was taken out of service while officers investigated the incident.
“No arrests have been made in connection at this time and enquiries are ongoing.”
The rail operator Northern announced the cancellations on social media last night, stating due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train between Doncaster and Fitzwilliam the line was blocked.

Hide AdThey warned services running through the stations would be cancelled or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
