Three people charged in connection with Rotherham burglaries

Two men and one woman have been charged in connection with three burglaries in Rotherham.

The burglaries took place between Friday, June 20 and Sunday, June 22 in the Swinton and Wath-upon-Deane areas.

Shaun Atkinson (34), of Hawthorne Road, Wath-upon-Dearne, and Wayne Ardron (35), of no fixed abode, have both been charged in connection with a break-in at a house on Cemetery Road on Friday, 20 June.

Kerry Soames (32), of no fixed abode, was charged in connection with two break-ins on Charles Street and The Lea in Swinton on Sunday, 22 June.

All three appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday, June 24) and were remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday, July 15.
