Teenage boys ambushed by gang of men in street robbery in Rotherham

Two teenage boys were ambushed by a gang of men armed with a knife and baseball bat in a street robbery in Rotherham.

The boys, aged 14 and 15, were walking along Union Street when two cars pulled up alongside of them and a group of men got out.

They told police the men were Asian and one car was black and the other was a white or silver BMW.

A gold Gucci watch and a pair of trainers were stolen from the boys during the incident.

The teenagers both suffered cuts to their hands and were taken to hospital for treatment.
