A Good Samaritan came to the aid of a teenage girl who was being beaten, and police would now like to hear from her.
At around 9.15pm on Saturday, August 31, a 13-year-old girl was stood alone on the pavement outside the Dome, on Bawtry Road in Doncaster.
Police received reports that she was approached by four unknown girls, two of which were believed to have begun assaulting the 13-year-old girl by punching and kicking her repeatedly.
The 13-year-old received injuries to her face and head.
Officers believe that a woman standing at the bus stop nearby, called out to the group to stop and assisted the 13-year-old in cleaning her injuries.
Police would like to speak with the woman from the bus stop as she may hold vital information to assist with further enquires.
