Meeting to decide on sex-trade crackdown plans

Residents and police decide tomorrow (Wed September 3 2014) what they want to make the priorities for police in Intake and Wheatley.

The Partners and Communities Together meeting at the Ardeen Centre, Ardeen Road, Intake will decide whether to continue with the current issues.

At present officers are looking to crackdown on prostitution and related anti-social behaviour around Thorne Road and side streets in Wheatley and Town Moor between East Laith Gate and Wentworth Road.

They are also prioritising anti-social behaviour around Dudley Road, Intake, and Unity Flats, Parkway North, and Parkway South, Wheatley. Tomorrow’s meeting is at 6.30pm.
