Man facing historical child sexual exploitation and indecent assault charges in Rotherham

A man who is already facing 22 charges relating to child sexual exploitation (CSE) has been charged with a further two offences.

Bannaras Hussain, 36, of Bridge Close, Goole, who is currently on remand after being charged with a string of offences allegedly committed in Rotherham, was charged yesterday (Thursday, July 16) with two further offences of indecent assault.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 1998 and 2000.

He is due to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Monday, September 7, alongside six other defendants charged as part of Operation Clover, a joint investigation by South Yorkshire Police in partnership with Rotherham Council and the Crown Prosecution Service.
