Man charged with farmhouse murder appears at crown court

Raymond Wild, has appeared at Sheffield Crown Court today charged with the murder of his wife, who was found dead at a Doncaster farmhouse.

The 51 year-old appeared in court today for a preliminary hearing.

Mr Wild was charged with the murder of Sheila Wild on March 1.

A post mortem examination found that 49 year-old Mrs Wild died from strangulation.

Police discovered the body of Mrs Wild when they broke into her isolated home on Thorne Road in Blaxton, after her family raised concerns about her welfare.
