Officers have launched an investigation after a group of men armed with a crowbar allegedly robbed a Dearne takeaway over the bank holiday weekend.
The incident is believed to have occurred at around 12.25am on Monday, August 31 August when it is reported that three males with their faces covered entered the Domino’s Pizza takeaway in Rotary Drive, Wath-upon-Dearne.
It is believed that they threatened staff with a crowbar before fleeing the scene with a quantity of money.
The males had their hoods up and it is not known what direction they headed upon leaving the premises.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
Officers are asking anyone who may have seen a group of males in the area at the time or who witnessed any suspicious activity to get in touch.
Anyone with any information that could help officers, is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 29 of August 31.
