Police dealing with anti-social behaviour in Tickhill, Doncaster, have been investigating fires on one of the town’s parks.

Officers revealed they had to deal with two fires in two days around Tithes Lane Park in the town.

The fires were on September 10 and 13, officers from the Bawtry and Tickhill Safer Neighbourhood Team said.

Officers are currently treating anti-social behaviour in Tickhill as one of their priorities for action in the neighbourhood.

Other recent issues in the area have included a bench being vandalised earlier this week.

Officers are set to meet up with the public again on Tuesday, October 28, at Kilham Hall, Kilham Lane, Branton, to discuss if the issue is still a problem .
