An efit of a man fitting the description of a suspect in a reported sexual assault in Denaby Crags has been released today.

This comes as detectives continue their enquiries into the reported sexual assault of a 25-year-old woman, which is the latest in a string of ‘similar’ attacks.

It is reported that the woman was walking along in the direction of Denaby Cemetery at the rear of Tickhill Square.

As she approached the Denaby Crags area, an unknown man is alleged to have approached her from behind and sexually assaulted her.

The incident occurred at 2,20pm on September 27 and officers have today issued an e-fit image of a man fitting the description of the suspect.

High visibility police patrols are being carried out in the area on a daily basis following reports of a similar nature in previous weeks.

Anyone who may recognise the man is urged to come forward.
