A HAUL of £80,000 worth of drugs were uncovered after a series of raids at homes in Doncaster.

Seven men, aged between 20 ann 47, have been charged with the production of cannabis or possession with intent to supply following their arrests in August.

Police executed ten search warrants in and around Dukes Crescent, Staveley Street and Princess Street in Edlington on August 8.

There were 70 police officers and PCSOs involved in the operation, which recovered 130 cannabis plants as well as other controlled drugs.

The seven men are due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
