Doncaster man left with face and ear injuries after pub assault

A 27-year-old man has been arrested, following an altercation in a Doncaster pub that left a man with injuries on his face and left ear.

Police are now appealing for more information on the incident, which took place at the Black Bull pub in Doncaster town centre.

The victim was assaulted by another man at around 8.40pm on July 22.

He was then taken to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries before later being discharged.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
