Doncaster man handed driving ban after failing to provide breath test

A Doncaster man has been put on a curfew after he failed to provide a breath specimen after he was pulled over by the police.

Graeme David Attenborough was pulled over in the town on July 10 after officers suspected him of drink driving, court records show.

But he failed to provide a breath specimen when stopped, records for Doncaster Magistrates’ Court have revealed.

Attenborough, 43, of Paxton Crescent, Armthorpe, Doncaster, admitted the offence when he appeared before the court on Monday, September 14.

Armthorpe was put on an electronic curfew to stay at his home address between the hours of 9pm and 6am until December 7, 2020.

He was also banned from driving for 17 months, although the disqualification will be reduced by a total of 129 days if he completed a drink driver awareness course by June 6, 2021.

He must also pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
