A Doncaster man who was caught growing cannabis plants after converting bedrooms into a drugs factory has been jailed.

Tyron Silman of Edlington was arrested after police raided a house in Gordon Road in the village in October last year.

The 26-year-old was held after officers found cannabis plants being grown in two upstairs bedrooms, specially adapted for the purpose.

Doncaster West Neighbourhood Policing Team said Silman had been sentenced to two years for the offence of production of cannabis.
