Hyde Park: Jewellery, watches and rings worth £4,000 were taken by a sneak-in burglar at a house in South Street yesterday morning.

Toll Bar: A sneak thief entered a pensioner’s house in Askern Road on Sunday night and stole £300 in cash.

Bessacarr: A £400 mountain bike was taken when a shed in Warnington Drive was forced on Sunday night.

Town Moor: A shed in Avondale Road was broken into and a £500 racing bike stolen.

Dunsville: A teenage boy was playing football in the quarry park on Saturday afternoon when his BMX bike was taken.

Scawsby: A £700 mountain bike disappeared when it was left unattended in the rear garden of a house on Morrison Road.

Thorne: The owner of a £20,000 Fiat motorhome returned to where it was parked in Lock Lane yesterday afternoon to discover it had been stolen and the vehicle has not yet been recovered.

Tickhill: A disused caravan parked in Apy Hill Road was deliberately set alight last night just before 11.30pm.

Town centre: A woman was feeding her baby in the early hours of today when a brick was thrown through the living room window of her house in Allerton Street but they were uninjured.
