The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police on June 4. Anyone with information please call South Yorkshire Police on 101.

Intake: A power saw wsa taken when theives forced the door of a shed in Evelyn Avenue on Monday night.

Edenthorpe: The manager of the Beverley Court Hotel on Thorne Road disturbed raiders who had removed a pane of glass which activated the alarm at 2.45am yesterday.

Balby: A mountain bike was stolen when the lock was cut off a garage door in Douglas Road.

Town centre: A pickpocket stole a purse from a 75-year-old woman shopping in Mark and Spencer. It contained £20.

Balby: A pedal cycle worth £400 was stolen from a cycle rack at the Woodfield Business Centre on Carr Bank during the day on Wednesday.

Armthorpe: A child’s BMX bike worth £150 was stolen from the rear garden of a house in Paxton Crescent last weekend.

Cantley: Thieves forced the window of a Vauxhall Corsa parked in Grangefield Court and stole a wallet containing £60 and sunglasses.

Conisbrough: Thieves tried to syphon fuel from a Renault parked in Doncaster Road around 11.45pm yesterday but were disturbed by the owner.

Intake: A gardener working in Sandringham Road put a strimmer down for a few minutes and found the £150 tool had been stolen.

Mexborough: About 80 litres of fuel was stolen from a lorry parked at commercial premises in Lea Grove on Tuesday evening.
