The following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court charged with the following offences

Wayne Mullins, 28, of Childers Street, took the CK One fragrance from Boots in the Frenchgate Centre on August 9.

Mullins pleaded guilty to theft and was ordered to pay £85 costs.

He must wear an electronic tag for four weeks and complete a nine month alcohol treatment programme.

n Cantley: Hitting another car before driving off has ended in a fine for a motorist.

Christopher Atkinson, 23, of Cantley Manor Avenue, admitted damaging a Seat Ibiza with his Citroen Relay van in Ewood Drive, Cantley.

He was fined £65 and ordered to pay £100 costs.

Atkinson’s licence was also endorsed with five penalty points for the March 25 offence.

n Campsall: Magistrates have put the brakes on a careless driver who crashed into a cyclist.

Nicola Dolman, 35, of Wordsworth Avenue, owned up to driving her Citroen Xsara along The Avenue, Campsall, without due care and attention.

She failed to notice the cyclist as she turned into Ryecroft Road around 3.10pm on October 19 last year.

Dolman was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £35 costs.

n Askern: A man has been reined in by magistrates after repeatedly breaking a restraining order.

Martin Sands, 23, of Moss Road, was jailed for three months for making phone calls to his female victim while serving a suspended prison sentence.

He was found guilty under the Protection from Harassment Act after a trial.

Sands called the woman on June 11 and June 12.

Magistrates said it was his fourth breach of the restraining order.

n Denaby: A driver caught using his mobile phone behind the wheel has received a £60 fine with £50 costs.

Adam Gray, 22, of Denaby Lane, admitted he was otherwise engaged when police stopped his Citroen Saxo in Doncaster Road, Mexborough, on April 21.

He pleaded guilty to the offence under the Road Traffic Act.
