Arsonists torch Dearne school minibuses

Police are investigating after three school minibuses were set alight at a school in the Dearne Valley in the early hours of this morning.

The vehicles were torched at Wath Comprehensive School at around 2am today (Monday, September 28).

Rotherham and Dearne firefighters wore breathing apparatus and tackled the blaze using hose reels.

A South Yorkshire fire and rescue spokesman confirmed that the fires are believed to have been started deliberately.
