Cheetos crisps recalled over allergy risk

Food manufacturer 3D Trading is recalling packs of its Cheetos snacks after a labelling error left consumers open to a potential allergy risk.

The packs of Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno Crunchy Cheese Flavoured Snacks contain milk, which is not mentioned on the ingredients list and could cause an allergic reaction.

The affected products are 56.7g packs of Cheetos Cheddar Jalapeno Crunchy Cheese Flavoured Snacks with batch no: CHSSS-4179H/7E LAP 30043652 and a durability marking of “Guaranteed Fresh until May 31”.

Anyone with a milk intolerance who has purchased the snack is asked to return it to the store where it was purchased.
